10 March 2015

Tickets booked... check! Excited kids... check! Excited adults... check!

T minus 100 days and counting until we head off to Florida for our 2015 Summer Holiday and really. cannot. wait!!! :D

Holiday preparation has been set in motion and currently involves totally essential things like refining our itinerary every other day, designing custom t-shirts and making up some new mix tapes/playlists (which even have some non Disney songs on it). The ESTAs, Passports and all other boring things can wait for now.

Harry Potter Sundays are now in effect, though I’ve been told by a certain young lady that its important we implement Disney Princess Saturdays as well. As long as we keep Frozen to a maximum viewing count of twice a month, Ill be happy with that.

Height chart is being monitored weekly (or daily, in some cases), which gives us a great excuse to reinforce the kids needing to eat up all their dinner and go to bed early. It kinda works… -ish.

We’ll have a people carrier this year which will make it so much easier to get about and discover new things public transport wouldn’t allow for last time (as well as save us a great deal of time). We’ve only really organised a beach trip out-with the surrounding areas so any other suggestions on a postcard please.

We’ve also pre-booked some extra things including Be Our Guest & Cinderella’s Royal Table and Grace even has her matching outfits for both Princesses (which is obviously mandatory of course). Ann’s booked Dine with Shamu, where you eat seafood while a huge killer whale stares on intently - something she has always wanted to do, yeah that’ll be… eh… fun. For me, I really wanna go to the ‘shark restaurant’ too (Sharks Underwater Grill in Seaworld) - the one that I used to have recurring nightmares about (see previous post). Face your fears, they say (or something like that, though not too sure that really applies when you’re talking about having dinner). Oh aye and Hooters this time is a must - but its OK, we’re living down that end this time so that’s where I’ll probably end up, every night, on my 'own’ :D Apparently they have a very nice key lime pie, according to Trip Advisor…

Roll on June.
