Day 09: Shopping
I know what you’re thinking - that’s a funny name for a theme park. Yeah 90% chance of rain forecast for today, which wouldn’t have been very fun at a waterpark (yeah waters water I know, but…). So decided to get the rest of the shopping done today, this time visiting The Florida Mall, which was all inside, thus offering protection from the elements and more importantly (depending on your perspective) has a Toys R Us. We knew we made the right decision as it started peeing down just before we set foot into the mall. Huzzah!
Shopping’s shopping ain’t it, so won’t bore you with the details, but Patrick did get some Lord of the Rings Lego as a belated birthday gift (no Death Star unfortunately but he was really happy with what he got). Oh and I em got a new camera - FULL FRAME BABY!!! So we’ll be living on rice and beans for the rest of holiday but at least I’ll get to take some nice pictures… (and for those who take photos, yes I know it’s the photographer and not the camera that makes the picture - but it’s always nice to have the best tools for the job :)
Parents were watching the kids tonight so me and Ann could go out for some dinner. My subtle and not so subtle attempts at suggesting we should go to Hooters all failed (seriously Ive heard the food’s meant to be amazing ;), so ended up getting some Mexican food at Chili’s - which turned out to be really good, and the plates were huge (which is a poor alternative to other huge things that could have been witnessed that night but nevermind)…
Restructured our final days to ensure we had the best out of the time we had left, so were going back to Hollywood Studios tomorrow morning to catch Toy Story & Jedi Training before hopping over to Animal Kingdom for the rest of the day. Long day in store and I can feel more tired each day even with all the caffeine shots, but hopefully being a relaxed day today will have restored the energy levels for tomorrow.
No pics today sorry, I know I’m boring - Ill make up for it tomorrow.
